She was looking for her shoes near the gates of the historical mosque; it was so crowded and hot but she was still finding a pleasure going there every night to do her Taraweeh prayers, just like every Ramadan. It was too dark; it wasn’t that neighborhood turn of having electricity at that night. Gazans have been suffering the blackout crisis for more than five years and there’s no light being seen in the horizon. Her sister in law had asked her before she left her and went to visit her family if she fears walking alone in this dark way, she answered in a sarcastic tone, “fear what? What’s the worst could happen?”
