LIBYA AND TUNISIA – CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) invite you to a seminar on the development of the rule of law in Libya and Tunisia. FBA and UI have gathered experts to discuss some of the main challenges, opportunities and priorities for developing the rule of law in Libya and Tunisia.
New circumstances in Libya and Tunisia are reshaping the grounds for the development of rule of law. What can be done in the short and long term to strengthen the rule of law in post-revolution Libya and Tunisia? How can institutions regain legitimacy, credibility and public trust? And how can international actors best assist in rebuilding and strengthening the justice sector?
