Meetings with community members, sharing experiences of the many ways that they are engaging in the struggle for freedom and justice. Concerts with amazing musicians such as DAM, Ministry of Dub Key, Dar Qandeel, Palestine Street and Toot Ard. In short; it will be the ride of a lifetime!
Starting on the 23rd of September, people from around the world will gather at The Freedom Theatre in Jenin Refugee Camp to join Palestinian actors, musicians, writers and activists in a Freedom Ride to key sites of resistance and oppression in the West Bank. These include Nabi Saleh, where there are weekly protests against the confiscation of Palestinian land and villagers suffer violence from the Israeli army, Faquaa, where residents are denied access to water resources that irrigate Israeli fields on the other side of the dividing fence, and At-Tuwani, where villagers non-violently resist harassment from settlers and the Israeli army by continuing to work their land. During the nine-day ride we will use interactive theatre and cultural activism to bear witness, raise awareness and create alliances throughout occupied Palestine and beyond.
Don’t miss this opportunity to participate directly in the movement towards freedom and justice in Palestine!
Even if you can’t join the ride physically, make sure to follow us on social media to interact and help spread the stories. You can also support the ride by making a donation.
